The Brunei Futsal Cup 2022 will kick off next month and will be a selection ground to look for teams to represent the nation in Bangkok in August, said the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD).
FABD executive committee member cum Chairman of the Standing Committee (Futsal and Beach Soccer) Competition Abdul Adib bin Haji Abdul Khani said the committee for the Brunei Futsal Cup 2022 will select teams from the tournament eligible to represent the country at the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Futsal Club Championship 2022.
The Brunei Futsal Cup 2022 is set to feature 16 teams divided into four groups of four with the top two teams advancing to the knock-out round.
Abdul Adib said, “The Brunei Futsal Cup 2022 is very important as a benchmark for the country.”
