Through the workshop, PROTECT II is expected to be able to strengthen regional cooperation in improving protection and accessibility for users with disabilities, as well as encouraging businesses in ASEAN to adapt inclusive business practices.

Deputy President of Council for the Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) and Exco of the Paraplegic and Physically Disabled Association Haji Noor Ishanuddin bin Haji Noor Kaseh led the Brunei delegation.

Vice President and member of the National Association for the Hearing-Impaired Wan Md Thaqif Fayyadh bin Md Hijazi; Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei President and MKOKU executive member Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang; and SMARTER Brunei member Hernah Nur Imani binti Md Jeffrey also participated.
