A delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), led by Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, left for Saudi Arabia yesterday to attend the Haj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition at Jeddah Superdome, Saudi Arabia from January 9-12.
Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim will also attend the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) on haj management for Brunei pilgrims for this year, following a haj affairs management meeting held via online in December last year.
Joining the deputy minister were Director of Haj Affairs at the MoRA Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad; Consultant of Internal Medicine at the Ministry of Health Dr Haji Muhd
Nurhasanuddin bin Abdullah Kelali; Vice President of Government and International Relations at Royal Brunei Airlines Ilyas Rory Teo; Assistant Religious Officer at Haj Affairs Department Haji Muhammad Izzuddin bin Haji Abdul Rani and Mosque Affairs Officer Mohammad Masdi bin Rosli.
