Amir Jamin and Mazlee Noor bin Metusin won the Master C and Master D categories of the Mountain Bike (MTB) Enduro Race 2023 tournament in Kilimu Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia recently.
A total of 118 from Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam participated in the tournament which saw six categories – Master A, Master B, Master C, Master D, men’s open and women’s open.
Malaysia’s Jr Stanly bin Jalip won the Master A category followed by Brunei’s Azim bin Haji Abu Bakar in second and Malaysia’s Terence Rinusin in third.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Amad Azarul bin Abdul Wahab finished first in the Master B category followed by Ridzuan bin Haji Mohd Esa in second and Malaysia’s Jali Lukas in third.
Master C and D categories saw local cyclists dominating the podium with Haji Haidir Al Rahman bin Haji Kabri in second and Hayrul Erywan bin Haji Abdul Wahab in third, while Mazalan Yaakub and Saifullizan bin Manshor finished second and third.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Drevionna Magdelynna Davin dominated in the women’s open category followed by Brunei’s Nurmaizan Izzati binti Mezlan in second and Syakirah Sulhi in third.
