Brunei attends MABIMS meeting

A delegation from Brunei Darussalam, led by Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, attended the 46th Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) of Religious Council of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore (MABIMS) at The Pacific Sutera Hotel, Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia from September 26-29.

Joining the permanent secretary were Head of Public Relations, International and MABIMS at the MoRA Senior Special Duties Officer Haji Mohammad Albi bin Haji Ibrahim as Head of MABIMS Secretariat; Acting Director of Mosque Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri; Special Duties Officer Grade 1 at Public Relations, International and MABIMS Pengiran Muhammad Azrin bin Pengiran Jarail as Head of Secretariat; and Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Research Officer Mohammad Muslihuddin Syah bin Haji Mustafa.

The meeting, themed ‘MABIMS Family Pillar of Ummah Well-Being’, saw a seminar attended by 200 participants. It was officiated by Malaysian Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Idris Ahmad.
