Brunei Darussalam participant Abdul Aziz bin Noor Nasran clinched the fourth spot out of six participants in the finals of the 7th International Student Competition organised by Iran recently.
Abdul Aziz scored 91.94 in the memorising of 30 Juzuks of Al-Quran at the competition held virtually on February 14 that saw the participation of 25 nations.
The Iranian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam held an award presentation ceremony for Abdul Aziz at the embassy premises in Kampong Kiarong.
Iranian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Homeira Rigi Zirouki, Deputy Head of Mission at the Iranian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Afsaneh Ebrahimi and Senior Religious Education Officer at Islamic Eminence Division at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar were in attendance.
