A new update for the BruHealth app will allow individuals to submit the results of their antigen rapid testing (ART) for COVID-19 through the application, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar.
He said the update will be launched in the near future and will improve the monitoring of COVID-19 patients and close contacts.
In addition to being able to upload ART test results on designated days through the application instead of the Ministry of Health (MoH) web portal, COVID-19 positive patients and close contacts can also apply for ART kits through the app.
The minister said another feature in the new update will allow patients to submit their self-triage survey during their quarantine period, which would “enable the MoH to manage and monitor patient health more efficiently”.
With the update, the minister said, “BruHealth’s colour code will also change automatically according to the health reports and ART tests submitted.”
In the meantime, the minister advised the public to update their health status daily to help the ministry to monitor the situation.
