Upgrades to the BruHealth application have caused a glitch in the system with individuals experiencing a colour code change, causing many to phone in to complain about the predicament.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar said this during the press conference yesterday.
Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham explained that the problem has been rectified, and called on individuals still experiencing the glitch to notify the authorities.
The minister said there is also a glitch with the colour code switching from purple to yellow for those undergoing quarantine order (QO), adding that the yellow code is for those who have chronic illnesses. “It is either the person’s chronic disease being unstable or they have yet to see a doctor to ascertain their condition.
“Yellow codes do not have limited movement as the colour code is to remind those at high risk due to their non-communicable disease to take extra precautions,” said the minister.
Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham said the BruHealth app and BruHIMS – which are of two separate systems – will constantly be monitored to improve the situation, and the steps will be further simplified to declare a person’s COVID-19 status in the near future.
Those who have had their colour code switch from purple to yellow are reminded to stay home to complete their QO, said the minister.
