The Belait District Scouts Association (PPDB) hosted a talk on the World Scout Committee’s Messenger of Peace programme on Friday.
National Scout Organisations Asia-Pacific Region Coordinator for Messenger of Peace Ritchie Siabu delivered the talk to some 20 rover scouts.
He spoke on the programme’s initiatives to promote and recognise service projects that contribute to world peace while also driving meaningful progress towards sustainable development goals.
He also spoke on the programme’s history, how scouts can achieve the badge and how to get started.
