The Foochow Association Belait visited the Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in the Belait District on Friday as part of the association’s community outreach to support persons with disabilities.
The visit, organised by the association’s Women’s Division was led by Foochow Association Belait Chairman Tan Tei Tei. The association also handed over a donation of necessities to Pusat Ehsan.
The centre’s students welcomed the visiting association members with a dance, who also joined in the fun. A brunch was also sponsored by Buccaneer’s Restaurant.
Head of the Women’s Division Agnes Hwong hopes that the time spent at the centre enlivened the students’ day. She said that the association hopes to conduct more visits and provide aid where necessary.
