TotalEnergies EP (Brunei) BV recently organised a donation drive to underprivileged families as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programme under its ‘Action’ Flagship of the company’s foundation.
In the Belait District, eight staff members and volunteers led by Communications and CSR Lead Firdaus bin Razali presented donations to 10 less fortunate families at Kampong Lumut Community Hall. Kampong Lumut II Acting Village Head Taib bin Haji Salleh was present.
Firdaus said, “By providing a helping hand, we hope to play a practical role in contributing to these individuals in lessening their burdens by donating essential household items such as cleaning material and food supplies especially during the holy month of Ramadhan and in preparation for Hari Raya.”
The delegation also visited Kampong Lumut II and handed over donations comprising of basic food necessities to nine families.
Meanwhile in Kampong Serasa, the delegation handed over donations to 10 underprivileged families, accompanied by Kampong Serasa Acting Village Head Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin.
