Fifteen officials from Indera Motors Sdn Bhd completed the fire marshal course held from January 9 to 11 at the premises of Indera Motors Sdn Bhd.
It was facilitated by the Public Relations Division of Operation ‘A’ branch under the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD).
During the course, the participants were exposed to the importance of fire safety in theory and practical sessions where they were briefed about reasons and causes of fire, understanding of the action taken by conducting building evacuation exercise, proper fire extinguishing technique and the approach of survival technique if trapped in a building during a fire.
Participants also took a closer look at firefighter tools during a visit to Beribi Fire Station.
The FRD provides fire marshal course, Lifesaver 995 and fire safety briefing to the public.
