AEC Sdn Bhd conducted a training for officials from the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Services at the Public Works Department (JKR), Ministry of Development as well as refrigeration and air conditioning teachers from Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Sultan Bolkiah Campus.
It was part of an initiative to introduce R32 refrigerant gas air conditioners in the Sultanate.
The half-day training focussed on introduction and familiarisation of R32 refrigerant gas which is more eco-friendly, cost effective, energy saving and has higher cooling capacity compared to R22 and R410 refrigerant gases which are currently available in the country.
