HR FT cruised to a 4-1 win against Hoist FT in matchday five of the Belait District Football League at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club (BSRC) last weekend.
HR FT’s Khairul Ariffin Abdul Basheer scored two goals early in the game, while teammate Junaidi Brahim netted just before half-time to take a commandable lead.
Hoist FT attempted to get back in the game as Jasnie Juri scored one early in the second period. However, HR FT killed the game through Muizzuddin Jawdi’s goal.
Meanwhile, Liang Lumut ST were on course to a victory as they were leading 2-0 against Mengelella FC 2-0 in another match, but it was cancelled due to heavy rain.
The match will be rescheduled at a later date, to be announced at the league’s official social media outlet @liga.belait.
