Bowling friendly marks 9th Young Leaders’ Programme

Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong joined a friendly bowling activity in conjunction with the 9th Young Leaders’ Programme at The Country Club, The Empire Brunei yesterday.

Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Deputy Minister (Security and Law) at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the PMO Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah and Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid also attended.

Accompanying Lawrence Wong were Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development Indranee Thurai Rajah; Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and Ministry of Manpower Dr Koh Poh Koon; Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information and Ministry of National Development Tan Kiat How; and High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Laurence Bay Siow Hon.

The activity was held as a recreational event and a prelude to the main activities in the 9th Young Leaders’ Programme.

Lawrence Wong and the delegation are in the Sultanate for the 9th Young Leaders’ Programme, where Brunei is hosting the programme this year. – Azlan Othman
