Peliunan Park in Temburong District recently hosted a three-day ‘Rise and Thrive’ bootcamp, aimed at building resilience and enhancing career opportunities for Brunei’s youth.
The bootcamp brought together 74 young participants with an interest in entrepreneurship, technology and the creative industries. The programme focused on helping youth develop resilience and gain clarity in their career paths.
The participants were guided through seven critical areas for making informed career decisions, including identifying their fields of interest and preferred work environments.
Workshops and discussions were led by industry professionals, including a session by the Astronomy Unit from the Ministry of Development.
The sessions allowed participants to explore factors that align with their career choices with personal strengths and preferences.
The ‘Rise and Thrive’ bootcamp provided a platform for participants to reflect on their future, equipping them with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in their chosen fields.
The event, organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and managed by Mavensdotlive, received support from the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD), the Ministry of Education, and Volunteer and First Aid Support Team (VFAST).
