The Centre of Research and Understanding of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah at Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) and Faculty of Usuluddin at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) yesterday.
The agreement allows for collaboration in organising conferences and workshops, teaching and learning, training courses, publication exchanges, research programmes cooperation on Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah Journal, roadshow in strengthening the understanding of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah faith, technical assistance or training as well as cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The signing ceremony at KUPU SB’s Taqwa Hall began with welcoming remarks by Director of Centre of Research and Understanding of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah at KUPU SB Haji Mohd Azmi bin Haji Omar and Dean of Faculty of Usuluddin at UNISSA Dr Hajah Lily Suzana binti Haji Samsu.
Acting Assistant Ra’es Datin Dr Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh signed on behalf of KUPU SB while Acting Assistant Rector (Academic) Pengiran Dr Hajah Norkhairiah binti Pengiran Haji Hashim signed for UNISSA.
The agreement was aimed at both institutions working together to produce a knowledgeable, charitable and pious populace to achieve goals accordance to the teachings of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah.
