Tutong District’s Welfare Fund for Orphans received a donation from the Arts and Culture Body of Tutong District (B2K Tutong) yesterday.
Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri received the funds from B2K Tutong’s Deputy President Haji Yaakub bin Haji Osman at a handover ceremony at the Tutong District Office.
The funds were collected from the district’s cultural festival on June 3 at Tutong District Civic Centre Complex.
The donation was aimed at building up the fund, and the organisation hopes to make more contribution in the future. – James Kon
