Two books – Fatwa Mufti Kerajaan 2021 and Irsyad Hukum 2021 – published by the State Mufti’s Office at the Prime Minister’s Office are now available at its bookstore.
The books touch on various issues faced by Muslims in the daily life.
Fatwa Mufti Kerajaan 2021 contains 22 series of fatwas (decree) issued by the State Mufti in response to questions raised by the public, institutions and individuals.
The book discussed about the possibility in performing ghaib (funeral) prayer over the remains of a COVID-19 patient, getting the COVID-19 vaccine injection during fasting, putting on a facemask while wearing an ihram (a white attire worn when performing umrah and haj), and other questions regarding life guidance.
Meanwhile, the Irsyad Hukum 2021 book highlights various matters related to aqidah (belief), worship, mu’amalat (Islamic finance), ahwal syakhsiyyah, animals, faraidh (wealth distribution), legislation, siyasah syar’iyyah, morals, prayers, wirid and zikir.
