A second book publication portraying the life of Brunei scholarship students in Singapore or Asrama Kerajaan Brunei Singapura (AKBS) named Junjung Kasih II; Legasi Bersemi Di Bumi Temasek will be launched on July 23 at the Jerudong Sports Complex.
The book contains the educational experience and diversity of expertise of former Brunei students who studied in Singapore under the Brunei Government Scholarship Scheme (AKBS) and serving the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The book is the second volume and continuation of the book Junjung Kasih: Contribution of Brunei Government Scholarship Students in Singapore (1950-1982) published in 2019. – Azlan Othman
