Sungai Tali Lumut 2 Primary School organised a Book Character Day yesterday in conjunction with its English Language Week.
The event saw students, teachers and staff dressed as characters from storybooks.
The event began with the singing of the national anthem, the recitation of verses from Al-Quran and a Doa.
It proceeded with a procession and the selection of students with the most captivating attires followed by writing activities and an English-language movie screening.
The objective of the event was to raise awareness on the importance of using the English language in daily life and promote a reading culture among students.
