The Authority for Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) fined a company BND500 for setting up an advertisement board at STKRJ Kampong Katok ‘B’ without an approval.
The company has been given two weeks to settle the fine for violating Regulations 12 of Building Control (Advertisement, Billboard and Signboard) Regulation 2016.
The public is reminded to ensure the advertisement company they appoint holds a valid registration, and that business sign boards and advertisement boards placed outside business premises obtain approval from the Building Control Regulation (Advertisement, Billboard and Signboard) Regulation 2016.
