A company was fined BND500 for illegally putting up an advertisement display at a shop unit in Berakas on Tuesday.
The Authority of Building and Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) said the fine was issued for the violation of Regulation 12 of the Building Control (Advertisement, Billboard and Signboard) Regulations, 2016 – putting up advertisement displays without permission.
The company was given 14 days to settle the fine.
ABCi advised company owners to ensure that an appointed advertising company has a valid registration and has obtained permission for any signs or billboards displayed outside business premises. Further information is available on www.abci.gov.bn.
