Development activities such as netball practical skills will be held to provide comprehensive knowledge of the sport.
Several matches across various categories will also be contested including women, men, grassroots, veteran and corporate.
This programme is also conducted to promote the registration of the ‘NetAthlete’ network for the public.
There will be a range of exciting activities planned which include face painting, the sale of netball merchandise, food and beverage, World Cup Fever, and others.
The roadshow aims to increase community engagement, shape youth players to become proactive members of society and exposing them to efforts to improve soft skills and build self-confidence as well as to foster spirit of unity and promote mental and physical health.
The roadshow will also create opportunities for the sport industry through engagement and integrated efforts with various stakeholders and other agencies.
Furthermore, this will also provide an opportunity and path for the selection of the player’s preparation towards the elite level and high performance. – Fadhil Yunus
