The Brunei Netball Association (BNA) which held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Lecture Theatre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, recently, appointed committee members for the term 2022-2024.
Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Hajah Wan Shahlimar binti Haji Suhaili was re-elected as President while Masnurfaiza binti Haji Zaini was elected the Deputy President. SSJN (Rtd) Sabariah binti Haji Kamel Jumat was also re-elected as Secretary General.
The meeting also discussed the association’s plans and activities both domestically and overseas including the role of national coach, regional and international competitions such as the Asian Netball Championships (ANC) and Asian Youth Netball Championships (AYNC) as well as national and regional umpiring courses.
One of the umpiring courses that the association is looking at will be held in Singapore from June 4 to 9 in preparation for the Asian Netball Championships expected to be held in September.
