The Blood Donation Centre under the Department of Laboratory Services has lined up several blood donation campaigns for the week.
A campaign will be held at the auditorium of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali tomorrow from 9am to 11am and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
A blood drive will also be held at the Renault Showroom in Kampong Telanai on Tuesday from 10am to 2pm, organised by Maju Motors Sdn Bhd.
Radio Television Brunei will run a campaign on October 9 at Seri Kenangan Hall in the Tutong District, from 10am to 2pm, to mark its ‘Badudun Bersama Biskita’ roadshow.
A blood donation drive will also be held on October 12 at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis Madang, from 9am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm, organised by the mosque’s takmir committee.
The centre also urged the public to help boost blood supplies in the country. The public wishing to donate can also visit the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital between 8am and 11.30am and 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
The public is encouraged to book donation slots through the Bloodkad app prior to a donation. – Fadley Faisal
