The Blood Donation Centre at the Laboratory Services Department has rescheduled two blood donation campaigns due to the critical low supply.
A blood donation campaign will be held on December 23 from 9am to noon and from 1pm to 3pm at the McDonald’s Jerudong Drive-Thru.
Meanwhile, on December 26 and 28, the donation will be held from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm at Function Room, Level 2, The One, Batu Satu.
The Ministry of Health announced that the blood supply at blood donation centres and blood banks nationwide are at a critically low level.
Blood donors from groups A, B, and AB are urgently needed to meet the blood transfusion requirements in hospitals across the country.
The blood donation campaigns are open to the public. Slots can be reserved through the Bloodkad app. – Adib Noor
