Over 30 Expro Brunei Sdn Bhd personnel rolled their sleeves up for a blood drive at the company’s Sungai Bera Industrial Area office in Seria yesterday.
The event was jointly organised by Expro Brunei and the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre.
In his speech, Senior Country Manager Amiensodi Azidian cited the Ministry of Health’s recent call for the public to donate blood to replenish national reserves, adding, “Alhamdulillah, today we are responding to this call, which aligns with our values and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to the community.”
“The blood donation campaign is also in tandem with the company’s ‘Saving Lives’ vision. The simple act of donating blood will compound and have a significant impact in contributing back to the community and nation over time,” he added.
Amiensodi later presented IT and medical electronic equipment to RIPAS Hospital Chief Blood Donation Centre Supervisor Haji Matusop bin Haji Daud. Well Construction Operations Manager Andrew Hampson also attended the event.
