Twenty-two pints of blood were collected during the donation drive organised by the Land Transport Department on Saturday.
The drive, conducted in collaboration with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital Blood Donation Centre, was held at the Land Transport Department.
The nation’s blood bank uses on average 50 pints of blood per day.
The blood donation drive’s objective was to help the replenish blood stocks used for transfusions and other life-saving treatments.
Donors at the blood donation drive comprised officers and staff of the department as well as the members of the public visiting the department at the time.
