A two-day blood donation drive collected 133 pints during its first session at Al-’Afiah Hall at the Ministry of Health yesterday.
The drive was organised by the non-governmental organisation Change and Impact in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
The drive, held in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day, aimed to help maintain a healthy level of blood supply and to raise awareness on the importance of donating blood.
The event continues tomorrow. – James Kon
