(ANN/KOREA HERALD) — Jisoo from Blackpink has chosen to entrust her individual activities to her brother, as revealed by a local media report on Tuesday.
Managing Biomom, a small company specialising in children’s supplements, her elder brother is set to lead Blissoo, a newly-established affiliate venturing into the entertainment business. The company has recently initiated recruitment efforts to expand its team.
While Blackpink collectively continues to be under the management of label YG Entertainment for group activities, all four members, including Jisoo, have collectively decided not to renew their contracts, which concluded last month, opting instead to pursue individual career paths.
Notably, Jennie had previously announced in November of the previous year her venture into establishing her personal label, Odd Atelier, alongside her mother.
Amidst these developments, Jisoo’s solo debut track, titled “Flower,” has achieved significant recognition.
It emerged as the most-streamed song by a K-pop solo female artist in 2023, according to annual reports from major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and YouTube Music.
