On behalf of the government and the people of India, and on my own behalf, I extend warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday.
India and Brunei share a warm and friendly relationship that is founded in deep-rooted historical and cultural ties, as well as close people-to-people connections. Brunei is a valued partner in India’s Act East Policy. I firmly believe that the ongoing exchanges in diverse areas and the mutually beneficial cooperation between our two nations will add greater content to our partnership in the years ahead.
