Some 113 riders in suits participated in the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride (DGR) yesterday, where the ride highlighted bikes, fashion and men’s health.

Ride host Azim bin Ghani highlighted DGR’s role in raising awareness on men’s mental health and prostate cancer.

He emphasised the importance of addressing often-overlooked men’s health issues, thanking participants and sponsors for their fundraising efforts. The event raised over USD1,199 through the ‘Movember’ charity.

The ride started at Jerudong Park Food Court, passing landmarks, such as Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium and Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, before returning to the food court.

DGR Brunei, established in 2014, began with 10 riders and has since grown exponentially. – Lyna Mohamad
