KB Bikerz Group has been registered as an association, the newly appointed President of the KB Bikerz Association Md Yuzri bin Haji Abd Rahman said.
“We continue to renew our vision and motto ‘To Unite and Enjoy the Ride Safely’,” he said during the officiating ceremony for the association and the appointment of new committee members at the multi-purpose hall of Panaga Club on Saturday.
Md Yuzri said the group had its beginnings in the late 1990s as a small gathering of friends united by their shared passion for motorcycling.
He said since then, ridership steadily grew, leading to the establishment of KB Bikerz in 2003. “KB not only stands for Kuala Belait, where many of our members are based, but also reflects our motto ‘Kita Bersatu’, symbolising our unity as riders,” he said. He expressed hope that the official registration of the group as an association under the Registrar of Societies of the Royal Brunei Police Force will strengthen their efforts to promote road safety and serve as a symbol of unity and friendship among motorcyclists.
Acting Belait District Officer Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, the guest of honour, officiated the ceremony, followed by the handing over of appointment letters to the newly appointed committee members.
The committee includes Vice President Shahrulnizal bin Sabarali, Secretary General Ariffin bin Md Ali, and Treasurer General Aziz bin Haji Sapar.
