My friends and I have been regular visitors to the Tasek Lama Recreational Park for several years.
I would like to commend the department or authority responsible for Tasek Lama for the recent improvements in the upkeep of the area. Over the years, some amenities had to be shut down due to wear and tear, with no signs of repair, leaving visitors with fewer spaces to conduct health activities such as qigong and other calming exercises. Even the once-popular tower on the hilltop was deemed unsafe and has been closed for several years.
The deteriorating conditions of these facilities not only limited activities for visitors but also became an eyesore. This state of neglect did not reflect well on our country’s image, especially for foreign visitors and tourists who come to enjoy this naturally beautiful place.
However, in recent weeks, we have noticed encouraging improvements at Tasek Lama. The platform by the entrance is under repair, some broken planks by the waterfall have been replaced, and the tower on the hilltop appears nearly ready for access once again! We hope these efforts will continue, not only at Tasek Lama but also at other public recreational spaces.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the head and team of the responsible department, ministry, or authority for their dedication to enhancing this much-loved park.
Kudos to everyone involved in making these positive changes!
