Pengiran Hasswandy bin Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar finished first while his wife Norhayati binti Abdul Latip came second, both of the Underground Beys team in Battle of Judgement, organised to mark His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th Birthday.
The event was organised by DBos Beys Beyblade Brunei Darussalam at Teratak DBos Beys in Kampong Mengkubau, Mentiri.
Pengiran Hasswandy defeated Mohd Daniyel Hakeem bin Haji Lamit of Ghostbeys with a score of 3-2 while Norhayati defeated Jukarnain bin Haji Husin of Santai Aja Blader as they shuffled from the semis to the finals.
Mohd Daniyel Hakeem won third place after defeating Jurkarnain bin Haji Hussin from Santai Aja Bladers scoring 5-3.
A total of 26 participants comprising members from Santai Aja Bladers (SA), Ghostbeys (GB), Underground Beys (UG) and Jaksuha Bladers (JB) displayed their skills at the competition.
The event was aimed to foster ties among players as well as promote beyblade in the country. Meanwhile, Sharizam Hanis bin Haji Sharbini from JB, Muhammad Adam Rafiqin bin Rozaimi and Abdul Muiz bin Haji Hamidon from SA and Massuny bin Haji Mohid from UG received consolation prizes.
