Hajah Rosmawatiniah received the Award of Excellence during the SSEAYP International General Assembly (SIGA) in Bangkok, Thailand. Her participation in the programme began in 1992.

Sixteen BERSATU members attended the four-day SIGA, which ended yesterday. The event featured a range of activities, including annual meetings, group discussions, cultural workshops, study tours, and visits to local attractions.

As part of the event, participants joined a cultural workshop at the Pattaya Senior Citizens Centre in Thailand, which serves 1,488 elderly individuals from eight villages in West Pattaya.

They also crafted items from coconut coir during a handicraft workshop.

The gathering concluded with the awarding of certificates and mementos to 218 attendees from ASEAN member nations and Japan.

The participants included former SSEAYP members, host families, discussion group facilitators and administrative staff from 1974 to 2023.

Additionally, the event marked the official handover of hosting responsibilities to Cambodia for the year 2024.
