James Kon

The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that Berakas Health Centre’s phone lines 2340251 and 2340228 are not working due to a technical problem and are undergoing repair.

The public can contact the health centre through 2333991, 2340257, 2340348 or 2340252 during office hours as well as using Darussalam Line 123 or MoH’s website www.moh.gov.bn.

Meanwhile, the ministry also announced that the COVID-19 vaccination centre at Berakas Health Centre will cease operation by April 1.

Those seeking to get vaccinated can go to health centres in their catchment areas or make an appointment through BruHealth app.

Vaccination appointment for five-year-old children can be made at their child health clinic.

MoH reminded the public that COVID-19 vaccine’s dosing interval between second, third and booster doses is six months while individuals that were infected can only receive booster shot six months from the date of confirmed infection.
