Catriona Gray joins star-studded host team for Miss Universe

MANILA (ANN/PHILIPPINE DAILY INQUIRER) – Catriona Gray, the celebrated Filipino-Australian beauty queen, is set to grace the stage once again as part of the illustrious all-female hosting team for the 72nd Miss Universe pageant.

Joining forces with Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and esteemed TV hosts Maria Menounos, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, and Zuri Hall, Gray will take on the role of backstage correspondent alongside Hall.

This exciting announcement was made by the global pageant on its official Instagram page, creating a wave of anticipation among fans.

Scheduled to be held in El Salvador on November 18, the Miss Universe competition will be anchored by the trio of Culpo, Menounos, and Jenkins.

Gray, expressing her exhilaration, took to her Instagram page to share the news with her followers.

“See you soon, El Salvador! So excited to be invited back as one of the hosts for Miss Universe,” she enthusiastically exclaimed.

The revelation of Gray’s return as a host elicited cheers from her ardent supporters, many of whom expressed their hope that she might assume the main hosting role in the future.

As the Miss Universe pageant draws near, excitement continues to build, especially with the arrival of the delegates, including the Philippines’ representative Michelle Dee, in El Salvador.

The stage is set for the global tilt’s preliminary competition on November 15 and the national costume show on November 16, promising a spectacular showcase of beauty, talent, and grace.

Catriona Gray is best known for winning the title of Miss Universe 2018 and she is the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe competition.
