(ANN/THE STAR) – Malaysian singer-actress Bella Astillah shocked fans on Wednesday (April 3) with allegations of infidelity against her husband, Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz.
Bella, 30, claimed in a local press interview that Aliff, 33, had cheated on her a staggering 11 times.
She maintained that her accusations were truthful and that she possessed evidence to substantiate her claims.
Furthermore, Bella, whose real name is Dayang Ara Nabellah Awang Astillah, asserted that Aliff had also been unfaithful with her younger sister, Eriqa.
“As many know, I have three other siblings. Aliff once cheated on me with my own sister,” she said, adding that she first suspected of the affair when she and Aliff went for umrah in 2022.
According to Bella, Aliff and Eriqa have exchanged messages, hoping for a smooth relationship. She also alleged that Eriqa had accompanied Aliff to the Malaysian television singing show Gegar Vaganza.
“Because I loved Aliff so much, I disowned my sister. I never told anyone about this matter but it needs to be revealed,” she said tearfully before continuing, “Disowning my sister but not Aliff was my biggest mistake and I regret it.”
Bella’s accusations came a day after a TikTok user, going by the handle @edisiumat, revealed that the actress had been romantically involved with local actor Muaz Zabir since last October.
Bella admitted to the claims on Wednesday, saying she had only “used” Muaz to make Aliff jealous after the latter cheated on her with two other women.
However, she clarified that this was a matter of the past and that she and Aliff reconciled afterwards.
Bella said Aliff had newfound appreciation for her following the incident, but he started “ignoring” her again during the filming of his upcoming drama, Terjerat, with local actress Ruhainies.
On March 9, officials from the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) arrested Aliff and Ruhainies at a condominium in KL for suspected khalwat (close proximity).
Bella then filed for a divorce from Aliff on March 11, saying it was the best path for her and Aliff.
This is the second time the actress has filed for a divorce.
Bella and Aliff, who share two children, divorced in 2019 after he was accused of cheating on her. However, they reconciled in 2020.
