Chung Hua Middle School Kuala Belait (CHMS KB) hosted a briefing on Brunei Teachers Standard-Teacher Performance Appraisal (BTS-TPA) and Whole School Evaluation (WSE) by the Department of Schools Inspectorate (JKSS) recently.
The talk, held to evaluate and formulate a better framework for both teachers and students to create a better learning environment, saw 14 JKSS inspectors led by Director Zainal Abidin bin Haji Kepli delivering talks to teachers from Belait District.
Some 97 teachers from CHMS KB, Chung Ching Middle School, Chung Lian School, St John’s School, St Angela’s School, St Margaret’s School and St James’ School attended the talk.
Topics discussed included JKSS’ core responsibilities and its role in helping achieve Brunei Vision 2035; introduction to BTS-TPA and WSE; and evaluation methodology. – Daniel Lim
