The stage performances in the Belait District, in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration, concluded on a high note on Sunday at the Tamu Perayaan, Tudong Saji in Kuala Belait.
A performance by the PERKERUPA comprising penghulu, village head and members of longhouses, enlivened the final night in the presence of Acting Belait District Officer Mohamad Yassin bin Haji Ahmed.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam, led by Acting Village Head of Kampong Labi 2.
It proceeded with the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah, led by Village Head of Kampong Sungai Liang followed by the recitation of Al-Quran verses, Zikir and Nasyid.
