Twenty-seven senior citizens from the Belait District Senior Citizens Association on the two-day Informed Community programme continued their visits by going to the Information Department yesterday.
Assistant Information Officer and Head of the Nationhood Unit, Strategic Communications Division at the Information Department Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris briefed them on the role and responsibility of citizens and residents. The briefing was to instil love towards the monarch, people and the nation as well as to inject the spirit of patriotism.
The briefing touched on the role and responsibility of people to the nation and ruler, society and family towards the prosperity of the nation. They also made a stop at the Makmur Lentera gallery.
The senior citizens then visited KN Nursery in Kampong Tungku and were briefed by Rimba Garden Central Project Coordinator Jamalludin bin Haji Yusoff before touring the Rimba Garden Central building.
