The Pertiwi Association organised its annual competition for Belait residents to highlight skills and talents needed to achieve a perfect household.
Spouse of the Acting Belait District Officer Khairunnisa Nadiah binti Abdul Ghani was the guest of honour at the event at Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Board Hall on Sunday. The competition saw 71 contestants in five categories.
The entries were on display for the public to appreciate their artistry and skills.
The guest of honour presented prizes to winners of the competition.
Pertiwi Association chairperson Fatimah binti Tanji said the competition was held in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday celebration. – Daniel Lim
