Belait District residents were treated to the Pentarama performance that took place at Tudung Saji, Kuala Belait on Saturday evening.
The event, organised by the Information Department, was held in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday celebration.

LegCo member Yang Berhormat Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, Acting Director of Information Siti Bismi Nuruliman binti Haji Awang Emzah and Acting Deputy Director of Information Sastra Sarini binti Haji Julaini were also present.
The performance began with the Pentarama’s theme song by the Pentara artist, followed by songs led by the Al-Buysra group, followed by a drama skit called Bisikan Hijrah by Seni Kreatif Insan Seni.
The event also saw a comedy show performed by Loh and Tibby from BruHaha, who also led the nationhood quizzes, with winners receiving prizes from the Information Department. – Daniel Lim
