The Belait Dakwah Unit members organised a series of visits to Muallaf across the Belait District yesterday to commemorate Hari Raya Aidlifitri celebration.
Islamic Da’wah Centre Religious Development Officer and Belait Da’wah Unit head Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustafa led the group, accompanied by Belait District Da’wah officers and staff members. The group visited six households in Kampong Lumut, RPN Kampong Panaga and Kampong Mumong.
Haji Muskrisman Safari said the visit is an annual programme organised by the unit to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with the new converts in their homes.
“This year, we reached out to the new converts celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri for the first time, and we want to spread the joy and happiness of such a momentous occasion.”
He added that the group also aims to visit new converts in the rural areas of Belait to ensure that they are included in the festive celebrations.
“These visits not only serve to further enliven the festive celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri but also provide further guidance for the new converts as they continue to embrace the Islamic faith.” – Daniel Lim
