The Foochow Association of Kuala Belait on Saturday celebrated Filial Piety Day as its annual activity to show appreciation for parents and the elderly.
Janet Sia, in her capacity as the organising chairperson, highlighted the importance of respecting parents and the elderly as they are the backbone of a family. “This celebration serves as an opportunity for us to appreciate and cherish the efforts made by our parents, the elderly and ancestors, and the time that we spend with them.”
The celebration was attended by association members and their family members.
