A two-vehicle accident along Jalan Setia Diraja in Belait District in the wee hours of yesterday morning claimed the life of a 42-year-old local man.
Initial findings suggested the deceased was a passenger of a vehicle that was involved in a head-on collision.
The on-duty paramedics pronounced the man dead and his body transported to the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital for further investigation.
In addition, the suspect and two other individuals sustained injuries in the accident and are currently being treated at the same hospital.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) has launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fatal accident that was reported at 3.10am.
