Bilster Technologies Manager Chua Chai Seng cautioned consumers on purchasing imitation inks for their printers, saying that it could damage the machine.
During a press conference yesterday, Chua noted that imitation inks can be found in the local market. “It is important for consumers to check authentication stickers on the product box,” said Chua.
Bilster Technologies, a subsidiary of the Concepts Group of Companies (Concepts), is the main distributor of Brother Printers in the country.
Chua noted that the company will have promotions for the upcoming month of Ramadhan.
Meanwhile Concepts Group General Manager Vincent Pao said the partnership between Bilster Technologies and Brother International (M) Sdn Bhd had grown the share of Brother branded printers and labelling machines in the country.
“And with our growth in Brunei Darussalam, we pledge to serve the Bruneian market with better offering and especially with better after-sales service and warranty coverage,” he said, adding that Brother Printers have a three-year warranty.
