In welcoming the month of Ramadhan of 1443 Hijrah, the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) will be closed on April 4, and will resume its operations on April 5.
In a press statement, the BDCB said the closure also includes the currency and gift shop; coin deposit machine; credit bureau customer service counter, and other payment and service counters. The Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system and the Automated Clearing House (ACH) System will also be closed.
BDCB’s operating hours during Ramadhan will be Monday to Thursday, from 8am to 3pm and Friday from 7.30am to 11.30am.
Meanwhile, BDCB Currency Gallery and Gift Shop will be open from Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 2pm, and Friday 8.30am to 10.30am. BDCB coin deposit machine will be open from Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 2pm and Friday from 8.30am to 10.30am.
The Credit bureau customer service counter, payment counters and other counter services will operate from Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 2pm, and Friday from 8.30am to 10.30am; RTGS will operate from Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 2pm and Friday from 9am to 11am; and ACH system operating from 8.50am to 1.40pm on Monday to Thursday and Friday from 8.40am to 10.50am. Visits will be on appointment basis only.
